How's the snow conditions in NW Iowa? Would like to hit some cattails before seasons end if most of the snow is gone.

the snow is deep in the ditches but gone in the fields... i have been seen a bunch of birds.. everywhere but i am done hunting the week of xmas ... i figured they have a hard enough time with the storms.. that they dont need me out there shootting them all .. good luck .. they are really spooky...

The edges of the cattails could have some pretty big drifts. Inside the drifts they are huntable.
