Not as bad as I thought

Just returned from the northeast, north central area and I have to say the hunting was not near as bad as I thought it would be after reading all the negative posts. Our best day we found six covies and the worst two. Saw maybe 15 pheasant and bagged 2. Always looked at pheas as a bounus anyway since priority is quail. Public areas had food and decent cover. CRP of course not as high as in past years but in some areas it was more than sufficient and made locating birds maybe even easier. If conditions are right this spring and summer I believe this area will be just fine.

What towns did you hunt around?

Are you serious? You just joined the forum and every single one of your post so far has asked where are the birds at? People are more than willing to help out but asking for exact areas and towns when you just joined is a little much.

Thanks to Jakeismydog2. I'm just looking for a little info before heading out there this weekend. We had a pretty decent quail season here in Missouri this year, definitely up some from what it was last year.

p.s. Kansascowboy you sound like real friendly booger so if you want to give me GPS coordinates of any covies you have found it would be much appreciated.;)
