Anybody heading to the sport show next week? Looks like there's some dog friendly exhibitors there and a few training seminars.
Has anyone paid for a hunt at one of these shows and actually got a special price ? Im going one of the days to check out Holzinger Kennels and Dokkens oakridge kennels.
I also see Garmin/TT has a booth, hope they have show specials on collars!
 
Both of the mentioned trainer's are well known...and expensive, but very good. I had one dog trained by Dokken and two others trained by Dokken's protege.

Not that familiar with Holsinger - located at the Horse and Hunt Club, Prior Lake, but he had a good reputaion.

Have not seen any promotion for the Sport Show, to date...
 
Went today, HOLY CHIt! was that place packed. Next time I'm going on a week day.
Went to pheasant fest there last year and it seamed like there was 1/2 the crowd, wow!
Though I was a head of cattle:(
 
I did attend the Show - went with my wife on geezer day. Frankly, was unimpressed. Lots of fishing tour booths, little focus on hunting et al. I enjoyed the Pheasant Fest (last year) more than this show.
