I've been in.the smith center phillisburg area seen 2 pheasant broods and heard alot of quail..but just havnt seen the pheasant numbers...deer numbers look good

I've found that how many quail I hear means little when fall arrives. Wait till you see brood/covey sizes.....IMO, that's when ya know how the quail did.

That is good news. We hunt in Osburn, Mitchel and Smith Counties. How is the weather out in that area?

Looking better got rain last couple days Milo is looking good corn is looking way better

Good!! Fine folks out there and they have had a couple of slim seasons, birds and farming. About time the weather improved.

I have been working in north Central KS for 3 weeks now and have only seen 2 hens with no chicks and 1 rooster while working. been seeing a lot more birds in northwest part of the state but still way down from years ago.
