Hey wondering if anyone can help here? I reload for 12,16,20ga I do both waterfowl/upland. I reload lead,steel and have in past done bismithand hevi shot as well. So here the question?? If ITX shot shot is 94% dense as lead and softer then my gun barrels should i not be able 2 use same date/materials as lead loads? Nice shot WOW at $54 for 2.2 lbs thats alot of $$ I can get 7lbs of ITX shot for $129 so about $17 a pound still exspensive but cheaper then NICE SHOT! I love shooting my 16ga sxs and i dont get enough denisty out of steel #4 for my liking (I HATE LOOSING BIRDS) In order to get the lead load i like 1 1/8 of lead # 5 or 1 1/4 of lead #4 I would need 2 move to steel #3/#2 for same energy,and those dont flow as well out my 16ga. Plus pellet count is not there. So does ANYONE HAVE ANY exsperiense reloadind ITX or NICE shot that they would be willing to share? Thanks much ...jay
