In Missouri, your license is good for the whole season, November 1 to January 15.

What is the rule for Kansas? Pretty sure you can start hunting in December with a 2015 license.

In Kansas the license are for the calendar year. I don't know if there is a set date that the 2015 licenses go on sale, but once they do you will be able to purchase it and hunt the rest of 2014 on it. My experience is that date is mid-December, maybe the 15th.
