I'm heading into my second season of hunting. I found a good group for 3rd season deer and elk last year. Have a deer tag and an elk tag (which is a calculated gamble with the hope that early snows force Elk down earlier than usual.)
I'm really interested in bird hunts and would love to find another newbie or newbie friendly group that can show me the ropes. I don't have a dog, but I'm shopping for a new one since there is a hole in our house from my 16 y.o. shepherd died recently.
Lots of great advice in forums so far, so I'm just looking for advice on getting started and anyone interested in connecting.
