Hello, My name is Ben Pescara. I'm from Wauseon, OH. I'm just starting to get interested in pheasant hunting again. I used to hunt with my dad years ago but due to family events we had to stop. I have a 2yo Yellow Lab mix that i've had since his birth(owned his mom). were really close so i figured that he'd be a perfect candidate for a bird dog. Hes bullheaded, almost fearless, and never ever gets tired.(chases my on quad for miles and never slows LOL) I attached some pics below.
My dad used to be really big in pheasant hunting having started the Pheasants Forever chapter in Fulton County. Had a yellow lab bird dog that was absolutely amazing for many years. He has one of my other pups and were going to see how they respond to some birds this year. :thumbsup:
