Hi all...

Just joined but have been reading the website for a while and have absolutely loved the information that flows in this website. Unlike other outdoor websites, this site seems to be able to keep on topic while still having a good time with fellow users. I live in Wisconsin, but have hunted out in SD for 06, 07, and 08. Wasn't able to make it in 09 due to getting married and won't be able to make it in 2010, but will definitely be back in 2011. Hope I will be able to pass on some information for people that are curious about Wisconsin (grouse/woodcock). I hunt an English Pointer that is an absolute joy to hunt behind. He's even a better family dog which is important for me. Thanks and I look forward to many more years of hearing some extremely valuable information that I've gotten on here.

Welcome to the site.
I also hunt with a EP and grouse hunting is one of my favorite things to do. I just wish i had more time. What kind of breading does you EP have? Mine is a Elhew. Came from Bayfield Wis.

Goldeneye...Mine is an elhew also. Came from Central Illinois however. Very good dog. I certainly will get another EP for my next dog. Like I said in my into...family has a big part to do with it and my EP has been great with the family and also a great hunting dog.
