I'd like to introduce myself and share some information about me. I grew up in North Dakota and moved to Kansas for College in 1991 and have stayed ever since. I am an Architect in the Kansas City area. Bird hunting ,especially upland birds, has always been my favorite game to chase. I have two gsp's, a female 13.5 years old (retired) and a male 2.5 years old. I have hunted with many different breeds and the gsp fits me best. The most enjoyable part of upland hunting for me is handling my dog, no dog not as much fun. I love to take young hunters out and show them what a bird dog can do. I believe your bird dog should live with you in the house, started young, and hunt often. Bird dogs are a passion of mine. I mostly hunt in Kansas, but hunted in SD last year and ND this year (with relatives). My favorite guns are Beretta's. You never have to ask me twice to go hunting, actually I think my dog is the one being asked.
I have looked at many different forums and this one seems to have the best mix of all things upland hunting; dogs, equipment, and the state forums are great. I look forward to participating.
