Thank you for the video, the Nebraska Land Magazine had a write up about this subject in its November issue.
I live in Nebraska, I enjoy hunting here but it is ABOUT TIME the NGP Commission figured out the concept of working WITH the land owners to increase the number of Pheasant in this state.
South Dakota is still king of the ring neck, but the obvious out of state money that pours into the state of South Dakota because of Pheasant hunting is amazing.
Perhaps if the NGPC continues on this idea one day Nebraska can also bring in an impressive amount out of state monies.
The money that is brought into a state to be spent on motels, ammo, fuel, food ect. will be rolled over several times before the money leaves the state.
All of this increases the tax receipts of that given county, giving a payback to the land owners of the county in better county services and lower tax rates.
It is a WIN WIN for everyone. The bird hunters, and the people of Nebraska. I only hope the NGPC will continue the work they are doing.
