Been thinking of going up to get a crack at these, has anyone ever hunted for them and do they hold well??? I have run into them in my ventures, but only now am I jacked to go after a few of them. Figure to go shoot some Blue's on the 4th of Sept. and then the next weekend go after some Sharptails!!! Thanks, Bleu:cheers:

I've done a bit of Sharptail hunting. With the Labs, they flush in range and are a fun hunt. After their shot at couple times will flush well out of range, so you have to go find another cover. I like to break up the coveys and go after the singles and doubles.
The young of the year are tender and tasty. Not going to be as good as the Blue or Ruffs. But the old Sharptails:eek: Ain't nothing that will make them worth eating. IMO.

Hope I don't have to use my Carp recipe!!!! Thanks for the info!!!! I looked up where I want to go and it looks like I do not need a special permit, like some areas have. When I was up Antelope hunting I ran into a large group while putting on a sneak. I almost lost what was in my bladder!!!! The noise and commotion attracted the buck within 70 yds!!!!!! Checkmate!!!
