Morning doves back

Surprised to see a group of 200 Morning Doves yesterday afternoon along the Poudre River! Birds are moving up a little early!!!!
 
Yea Bleu,

Lots of doves down here. The collard doves are already pairing up and building nests. Earlist i've ever seen.
 
Likely moving south. -20F weather in Chicago area won't chase them all off and I'm sure you're seeing those that don't feel like going south.

These are moving in. Been watching geese coming up from the South and are staging as well. Woodies are trickling in as well also! I do see small groups of dumb doves that do stay all year, even when it is well below zero. They stay in the same area year after year and there numbers vary from 15-25!
