MN Spring survival?

Just wondering if anyone has heard any kind of report about how Minnesota's pheasants survived, or didn't, this past tough winter...

Same as in

The Northwoods.
Lots of Cackling (or Drumming here) is a great sign & makes one optimistic.
However, it's all about chick survival the next few weeks that truly has
an effect in Fall Season numbers of birds to pursue. Weather dependency
can be a tough situation for chicks if it's sour at the critical time/s.

Here's hoping for good chick survival. Meanwhile I'm getting ready to pursue some walleyes & listen for some drumming.
