Me Too New from CO

I live in the Durango area of CO. Some refer to this part of the state as the 4 corners.

I grew up in MN hunting ducks, grouse, et al. Pheasants were hard to find growing up without a dog, but it is in my blood. From my part of the state, it is a haul to drive to grain country in Kansas or NE Colorado, but I try to make the pilgrimage at least twice a year.
 
Durango wow that is aways from most of the pheasant hot spots here in CO. Anyways greetings from Loveland, good to have you aboard :thumbsup:
 
As I write this I bet most of you are awake or tossing in your sleep with the anticipation of cackles and happy pups.

Durango is a way from the hot spots for sure, but a guy has got to do what a guy has to do if that means a 8-10 hour drive.

I am really trying to make the effort to invest the time and places so me and my fast growing 5 yr old will have a place in 6-7 yrs. to share what I shared with my dad and grandfather.
