Make darn sure you have habitat to keep them. We have been doing some testing here in Ohio with them with very bad results. Going to do bunch of planting and habitat work this year and try again. 600 quail released this past year and only found a covey of 15 birds in December. Cant find any of them now. Flight pen birds last about 2 weeks. Surrogator birds not so well. Released on about 300 acres, beans corn woods and grown up fields.
