Hello fellow Illinois hunters, I am looking to get back into hunting/chasing pheasants. I don't care for put in take, pay to hunt...I have the money, but will not do it; I also DO NOT need to limit out every morning I hunt...looking for some fellow hunters who are respectful, mature, law abiding to chase down hunting opportunities whether it is CRP or a brushy fence row. I live in Rockford, IL and the closest public ground for pheasant is in Prophetstownl; I am willing to drive an hour or more, but closer is always better.
