Late season hunt.

I have been looking at this forum for a couple of years, thought I better join and post a picture. I have been hunting pheasants in Iowa for over 40 years. This my current best buddy, she is a 10 ten year old English Setter.

Great pic. What area of the state were you in? How did your season go?

I'm in Central Iowa and this winter right now has been incredible so far, can't imagine there has been any winter kill of so far yet in my area!
 
I hunt south west of Iowa City about 60 miles, on private land. I did not hunt that much this year. I generally hunt by myself. A lot of the places I used to hunt no longer have any cover left. It is also getting harder to access private land. 20 years ago I could limit out almost every time I went. I seen alot of hes the last couple of years, hopefully the numbers will continue to rise.
