Late season hunt

Hunted with 2 buddies on family ground in north central ks..quail numbers are really good shot quite a few..dog did great! Pheasants even with this cold front were still flying wild ahead weren't even holding tight I guess that's the beauty of late season ! Still bagged a rooster! But overall impressed with numbers expel ally quail
 
Glad to here you made it out , would love to see some pictures of your hunt if you have them .

The Quail numbers really seem to have rebounded nicely in your area , I have experienced the same thing .
