Me and Maggs went south and had one of our best days of the season. We moved 4 coveys and chased singles most of the morning and early afternoon. I don't hunt late this time of the year as they need to regroup to stay warm in these temps we are getting here.
Maggie was on fire and I couldn't hit anything but after it was all said and done we ended the day with 5.
Maggie is still a work on progress but we have both learned a lot this year, I have learned to trust her and she has figured out so much this year about the birds we chase. She has hunted pheasants quail and sharptail and prairie chickens and successfully accomplished all of them in her 1st full year of hunting.
P.S. Trying to get good pictures with her is almost impossible to do.
