Last hoorah for Kansas this season

So we are heading out to/around Dodge on MLK weekend. I saw that there was some snow down there from this last storm, man wish I was there for that!!

I will be hunting pretty much all private land though so we should do alright. I am hoping that my son will get his first wild rooster (and shoot it all his own with his 20gauge).

Got a new yellow lab female pup....7wks old and she will be ready for next season.

I just hate when the calendar turns to January....it means three things to me:

1) hunting season is drawing to a close
2) football season is drawing to a close
3) Uncle sam, obama and the dems want more of my money and the IRS :mad:

Damn Greg, now I'm depressed:) Good luck to you. I'm going to try and make one last trip that same weekend.
