lake preston area

Wondering if anyone has hit the Lake Preston area much this year, and if it's worth trying it at all? I'm coming out the 5 days before thanksgiving and just wondering if I would be wiser to go to the Webster area instead?

I haven't been out there but I've been hearing that it's wet everywhere. Hunt them where they roost at dusk is the approach that I'll be taking. Are you one of about 5 houses in Rock Falls? I get there once or twice a year to race. I hunt the eureka or Aberdeen area and will heading out on Friday. I'm not sure where I will be at for late season yet though.

Yes I live around the corner from the the (convenience store) in town. Let me know how you end up doing. I am planning on making two trips out during late season. I've been to the Lake Preston area before and did alright, I was also thinking of trying the Webster area, I've had friends go fishing there and they say they can't believe the number of birds. Good luck next week, wish I were going.
