Ithaca Model 37

Hello, I have an older Ithaca model 37 12 ga. that I recently had problems with. I was using Fiocchi Golden Pheasant GPX shells. After the shot the shell would get stuck in the barrel and would not eject. Ithaca is aware of the problem however it cost $150 plus shipping to fix it. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do to fix it?

you may have an older chambered gun, that has a shorter chamber. Using 2 3/4 inch shells? I had this happen on a 16 ga model 37 ?

I have 3 37s 2 of which were produced in 1954,neither of those guns like fiocchi
shells my guns do the exact same thing you describe,however they run highbrass federal or estate just fine.I have talked to Zach at Ithaca about it and for now I will just use the federal and estate ammo rather than send my guns in to have them welded on.Hope this helped.
