Is it as bad as everyone is saying?

Quanah,you have not hunted here in MO the last few years
Ad bad as you think ks is going to be it will still be better than here
That's why I'm going to ks.
I think I got if figured out that there will be mote birds to be found this year than in the past , cause all the foeriners aren't going to come , therefore less hunters and pressure.
Season is sounding better the more I type
 
I talked to a manager of a hotel and he said he's not booked opening weekend for the first time since he has run the place. Last year they were booked opening weekend and then not again.
 
there will be pockets of birds in Kansas, especially near irrigated fields, but by and large, it will be pretty damn bleak.......you will walk many miles, before stumbling across an occasional bird, for the most part....where you do find a few, they will soon become very wild......i have hunted drought years before, only because i lived in pheasant country. knowing that, i sure wouldn't want to drive 500 miles or more to screw with those conditions and odds.....i can go for a walk at home and not spend $3.60 for a gallon of gas....if all that doesn't matter, have at it......and good luck....just my HO........
