there will be pockets of birds in Kansas, especially near irrigated fields, but by and large, it will be pretty damn bleak.......you will walk many miles, before stumbling across an occasional bird, for the most part....where you do find a few, they will soon become very wild......i have hunted drought years before, only because i lived in pheasant country. knowing that, i sure wouldn't want to drive 500 miles or more to screw with those conditions and odds.....i can go for a walk at home and not spend $3.60 for a gallon of gas....if all that doesn't matter, have at it......and good luck....just my HO........
