iowa counties

Northwest Iowa seems to have the most pheasants and also draws alot of hunters to that area. Pheasant numbers have been down in my area for about 5-6 years and the number of hunters is way down. I have enjoyed a better success rate/hr afield even though the bird numbers aren't as high. I will make a couple trips up north every year just to see the number of birds.
 
i live in northwest iowa.. there has been more pheasant every year... there are draws i never see anything then in the past 3 years its been loaded with them... so i really can tell....
