Just wanted to know if anyone out there has any input regarding hunting any of the reservation lands, good or bad. Thanks, John

the rez near the river can be hit or miss. but its the best one because of the bird populations in that area. the ne sd rez has nice stuff, just not many birds. this year its really going to be bad. do your homework, i've done it in the past as a "hey lets try this" type of hunt and it was ok but knocking on doors from miller to gettysburg to mobridge and back east can result in a nice trip. just don't try it with a small army. go out with 2 or 3 guys and knock on doors. mid november thru december you should find some good hunting opportunities. you will do better than hunting the rez.

Really depends what state and reservation---Flat Head where I live in Montana has agreement with state makes it easy Ft Belknap on the high line has there own liscense and reqires using their guides--and worse had huge winter kill--not worth the trip. Washington state has Yakama nation---requires their liscense but provide maps of hunting grounds nice for first time hunters no idea on their birds
