Taking the big blue guy in on Wednesday to have surgery to clean out an abscess between jaw bone and facial bone - some type of foreign body. This has been causing trouble for almost a year. Vet visits, antibiotic treatment, etc. Glad we finally figured it out. Dakota should be ready to open his mouth all the way to retrieve a big fat rooster!:thumbsup:

Have fun in ND! We received an invite for hunting in Montana, but had to turn it down. Dakota's CT $can and $urgery kinda put a dent in our finances. Possibly we might get in some hunting in Nebraska earlier than Colorado. It might be good to get our 1 year old, Blitz, out without Dakota. Looking forward to running both of the boys together this year. Woohoo!
