So with all the heat and everything...how are things looking for this fall? mainly in southwest part of Kansas?

I hope there haven't been any bad hail storms.

I can smell it in the air, can you? Oh wait, down that way it usually smells like cow$&*$

I am getting my pup ready....looking forward to another good season.

Look elsewhere!! Leftover birds and a few young ones, the drought is bad!! Could of been awesome with good conditions! Look North of I - 70 for best results!!!

i would have to agree, little or no wheat crop and temps way over 100 for days now.....anything SW of Greensburg would, with exception, be a waste of time.

Ditto, plus there was a huge grassfire on the Cimarron and around Hugoton in April or May. I drove through it on my way back from New Mexico. It was dry as a bone then. We didnt get any rain to speak of till mid or late May if I recall.

Anyways, one of our driest years in a long time for much of the state. We've been on a crazy streak of 100+ days in Wichita. My electric bill is gonna bankrupt me and I have the thermostat set on 79*.
