Im heading to south dakota for the first time in a week in a half and was just wondering if anyone has hunted in the area yet this season?
 
I hunted there 2 yrs ago. Can't tell you about this year. We hunted around Thanksgiving, and birds were real spooky. We hunted public land,and lots of of it, and still had a great hunt! People were very nice there. Hooked up with a farmer the last day we were there and saw:cheers: at least 200-300 birds in about 30 minutes of hunting. WOW! what a rush. Good luck and hunt em hard!
 
Thanks! looking forward to going for the first time this year Ive heard lots of good things about this area in the past skipped going last year due to losing a dog, but reloaded and stoked for this year!
 
We hunted the first 4 days of the season in the Huron area...two of us shot 19 birds but should have had our limit. Most of the crops were still in...I think the late season should be great. This was the first year we hunted the area and had a great time. Good luck with your hunt and let us know how you do.
