Hunting Kansas

I am wanting to hunt Kansas this year for pheasant.
My wife has decided that she wants to go so staying in a tent is a no go.
So where would be a good place to go that also has a hotel close by?

I was originally going to Glen Elder and would like to stay around that area.

I stayed at the backyard lodge last year in Beloit and it was better and cleaner than it looks from the outside. Nice place, I’ll be up there and staying in it again in a couple of weeks. I’ll post back if anything has changed.

I would wait and see the pheasant forecast and see what areas get emergency grazing and what area's don't. NW generally always has more birds.

What is "emergency grazing"
Sorry if a silly question but never heard that term.

And when they do that piece of property is more suitable for a set of golf clubs than a shotgun. Hopefully you guys are getting the needed moisture up there in Kansas.

We are still in D2 Severe Drought here in my county. If we could get a good rain this week it will change.
