Hunting Early Out-of-State?

Any Kansas hunters thinking about heading north to NE or a Dakota for some pheasant action before November 13th? In the new PF Journal there is a nice ad placed by a SD town encouraging pheasant hunters. I've tried NE a few times and ND twice. Best was SW ND. Coincidentally, there is a big article in the PF Journal about the SW ND PF chapter. I am sure the gentlemen featured in that article would be excellent sources of info for anyone thinking about a trip to that area. I met very friendly people up there.

I won't be able to go this year, though I'd sure like to. I've hunted both ND and SD and would have to say that SW ND is the best I've seen. We visited several of the SD traditional "hot spots" and didn't see anywhere close to what we saw in SW ND. The people there are very friendly as well.
