I hope that everyone had an awesome opening weekend. I will be heading out to Dodge City on Friday 20 Nov for 4 days.....I am hoping that the weather is good (meaning not t-shirt weather, but not a blizzard).....

I have heard that there ALOT of birds....I look forward to hearing from Maynard and others on how opening weekend was.

Hope the fields dry out some or at least freeze up so I don't have to deal with all that mud....guess I need to bring some extra pair of boots....

Our group of 16 limited out on Saturday, hunting near Hugoton with Sandwells Outdoors (http://www.sandwellsoutdoors.com). Had a great hunt. Weather was perfect on Saturday, but turned rainy on Sunday so we packed it in. Love to hunt, but wise enough to know that hunting in cold rain isn't much fun.

Did see some hearty souls out but not many.
