Are holographic scopes legal for deer hunting in Iowa? It seems these would be a great scope to get.

not sure being that im from ny, but i do have a lot of experience with holographic sights. aimpoint, trijicon, eotech and ultra dot for me.
if i was deer hunting, id want an aimpoint 9000l or 9000sc. its a longer 30mm tube so its more scope like. i love that scope for red dot hunting. aimpoint as im sure you know lasts 50,000 hours etc. they are one bad ass set up.
i also love trijicon, but not sure if the rmr is suited for deer hunting. its got a tinted lens on it which is great for seeing the dot quicker, but it kinda tints whats in front of you a bit.
leupold's deltapoint looks promising. i havent seen one yet. but the reviews dont seem too bad.
id stick with aimpoint.

They are legal for hunting. Outside of a range toy I've never used one for hunting. For close stuff I can't imagine a better both eyes open setup.
