Hill city area

I have a buddy that just hung some tree stands near hill city. He says the birds are thick!! Some of the roosters are just starting to get their color in. It could be an interesting year. Any other reports from the area??

I see that there is a lot of Walk-in hunting in the area of Hill City, how is it looking?

My buddy was on private land when he saw all the birds. My guess is that the wiha is good as well. In january this year the walk in was still producing alot of birds for us in that area.

IF the weather cooperates, I'll be able to provide a report from that area after the youth opener. If it is warm during youth season, I won't be driving that far.

Yea thats the problem for me too. Can really only make it up there once a year or so. From my experience last season that is the place to be though. Look forward to your update kb!
