Trying to wake up a little!!!! Leaving and headed up N.E. for a day hunt before the big game! I will give a report! Taking all 3 dogs for the first time this trip! Hope Bleu is healed up!!!:cheers:
 
Got skunked for the first time all year!!!! Had ice cycles in the beard in the morning and was shedding clothes like crazy about 9 a.m. Too warm and a ton of pressure!!!!! When i came back by a field I walked, there were 7 guys walking towards 3 blockers!!! Birds were headed to feed when i showed up early as I caught 2 flying across the road to feed!!! Most must have already crossed because 3 of us with 5 dogs only pushed a Rooster 100 yds out!!!! Found a 10 acre patch of uncut wheat in the middle of a walk in hidden from the road and thought this was it!!! Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to have to put a 12 pack at the end of each field to give me the power to keep going!!!! Man we covered some ground today!!!:cheers:

That would be a 12 pack of H20 right. LOL :D Sorry you had a zip day. I've heard that its boom or bust up there this year. You should not feel like the lone ranger. The birds are in the......... Pm me and I'll tell.
