Me and my family are making our annual trip out anyone have any suggestions where we should go.

Anywhere out west seems to be hit or miss. Id say just pick a town and go from there. We just got back from Wakeeney and didnt have much luck. Saw one rooster and 3 hens the whole day saturday.

South of Dodge, I think sw is better than se, but draw a line through dodge east to west and hunt south of it. This area caught more rains in 15 than north of there so the birds started coming back quicker. I remember watching rain after rain stay south of my ground east of Garden the last 2 years. I have spent a lot of time out hunting and staying in Dodge so far this year, 12 days so far, and I hear a lot of good things from guys hunting this area. I myself have been hunting north of town and I have been doing well on private ground, but the birds are spotty and you have to know where to go.
