Yes I have. I hunt there primarily since I used to live in the area. Just got back last night from a 5 day deer hunting trip.
Unfortunately theres not many birds this year. I think the heat this summer had something to do with it. Quail are not very plentiful in the area and any farmer will be protective of the ones he has if there is a covey or two around. Seen a few chickens but more can be found elsewhere and I only did see them while deer hunting as a small flock flew over me in the evening time to their roost.
Ive been pheasant hunting 2x during November (and partially deer scouting) as well as my deer trip and have not seen many birds at all. (Spent a total of 8 days in the area) Im going to be concentrating on another part of the state for the remainder of the year and hope it gets better next year.
