Has Anyone Hunted Ringgold County This Year?

Normally I hunt the northern tier, but a buddy has access to some prime private land in NW Ringgold County. DNR distribution map has had the entire area as "poor" for several years, so I haven't taken him up yet. This year, Ringgold is an oasis of "fair" for pheasant and "good" for quail. Just wondering if anyone has had boots on the ground down there before taking the scenic tour down majestic 35?! TIA!

Not this year but was there year before last. Not very good. I to have private ground there. Our contact who is a farmer there says it's about the same but has seen more quail. So, we are debating a trip there. Last year we debated until the weather went bad. Make sure deer seasons are out!
