Harvest Timing

With the heavy rains and late planting, wondering how far behind normal schedule the harvest looks for NW Iowa. Went last year from southern Illinois to Storm Lake area opening weekend and harvest was slow with most crops still out. Delayed this year to second week but wondering if that will make any difference because of late planting.

Just began seeing beans coming out in central Iowa. Farmer friend says a lot of beans are ready but the fields are still too wet. Says they're two weeks behind. Tried to take some corn yesterday but combine got stuck and moisture was 28%.
