Had to attend an old(er) cousin's funeral in Wichita Sat. so my huntin' time this past weekend was limited to Sunday. It was great hunting weather in NW. A skiff of snow fell about 6 am. It remained overcast most of the day with a steady 5 mph breeze and high of about 45. Almost ideal. Me and the pooch hunting alone bagged 3 phez and a quail. See the pics in the Main Bird Dog Forum, a post styled "One-Eyed Rescue Brit's Birds."
(FYI, my deceased cousin was Reverend Charles Curtis of the Methodist Ministry. He worked his entire church career in Kansas, so some of you may have known him. He was 87 and still 6'8" tall.)
