Glen Elder???

Anyone hunt the Glen Elder area this past weekend? I'm heading there this coming weekend and was wondering what to expect. Have not hunted there since the bird numbers have improved so I'm anxious to see what the area has to offer now.

Joe, I finally got a report from a CoWorker who has hunted there the last 5 season openers and he said it was better this year but I believe they had 5 hunters and got about 10 pheasants due to birds flushing early and they spent a lot of their time fighting mud and not hunting he said. Hope you did well.

Thanks for the info. We are about to head to the field. It is coooooold!!!! I doubt we'll have issues with birds flushing early. Things are dry for the most part now but I can tell it was pretty sloppy last weekend.
