I have one last weekend to plan a trip. This trip I am trying to pay back my cousin for a successful Goose hunting trip (he has not hunted pheasants before). I would really like to get him into a few birds. I may have an option to hunt some private ground around Garden City and south of Garden. I know that its been real real dry down that way and that bird numbers are not good. But I am not running into many birds on Public around here. Those of you who live down that way or have hunted down there this year would you mind PM'ing me and letting me know what I can realistically expect. Would you drive 6 hours to hunt there?

I think most of the hunting would be pivot corners.

Heck , no. Garden is already very dry sandhills and bird numbers are beyond poor. Stay farther east if you go. Not much farther than dodge city would be my advice. Radar
