I should have mentioned it earlier, but there is a shoot at Flint Oak this coming Saturday, May 21st. It is a fund raiser for Pass It On, Outdoor Mentors. Should you enjoy shooting sporting clays and are available, send me a PM, and I will give you the details and tell you how for only the fuel it will take you to get there on Friday evening, May 20th, you will have a first class experience of lodging, dining and shooting, along with an auction and raffle and poker tournament on Friday evening.

Here is last years shoot.

Here are some pictures from the 2010 Bust-a-Clay for Kids at Flint Oak

The awards after lunch on Saturday. Here is a mentor with his 'Little'. The Pass It On, Outdoor Mentors is getting kids involved in the outdoors that I would say have a slim chance(close to 100%) of being involved in hunting, fishing or camping were it not for programs like this. We are talking kids that have no one in their family that would be an outdoor mentor. A program like this can produce a new generation that love and care for the outdoors. Pass It On, Outdoor Mentors is a program worthy of support. I thank Mike and his family for all they do.

beaglebob1,

Still time to get in your truck and make the run from Ohio and get here for Friday evening. Yes, the steak last year was one of the best I have ever had.

And since the UPH get together didn't happen in Dodge in January, now would be a fine time for some of the local UPH'ers to get together at Flint Oak. Mike can send you a pledge sheet, you can get pledges for so much a target for each target you break or a flat pledge per donor. Collect $300 in pledges and lodging, meals, targets and shells are furnished. Make it $400 and there is an additional prize. Last year a young man from the KC area(I believe) had one donor agree to $20 per target broken(remember 100 possible) and all together he raised from all donors over $4,000(as I recall) for a great cause.

You guys in the area, take off a little early on Friday and make the drive to Fall River and you will have a super time at Flint Oak.
