I know this is the Colorado forum, but a lot of folks on here hunt Kansas as well. I work on Saturday's which makes it difficult to go out and hunt a whole weekend. I got a call from my best friend who is stationed at fort riley and he has a free pass from the wife this weekend, so we are going to meet and in Oakley tomorrow night and hunt together for the first time together since we were stationed in Texas.
I figured we would head south and hunt WIA and maybe ask a few farmers for permission to hunt. I just wanted to know if anyone else has hunted around there before and if it's worth it. We will be hunting with a 4 year old Brittany and a two year old English Setter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
If anything I will get to catch up with my buddy!
