Things are looking bad for scaled and mearns Quail down here in Arizona. The Monument fire is burning up the best areas for both these birds at the worst time of the year. Nesting time.
I hope when they get the fires undercontrol that there is enough time and habitat left for them to renest. It's not looking good.
