For pheasants I like my Filson bush hat with the big brim. Can get a little warm tho. Bal type caps next.
 
I have to go with a ball cap, I can't leave my house without a cap on, my father was the same way, as for a coat I saw one yesterday that I am going to pick up that will be my new coat for bird hunting, the other one will be retired for deer hunting only. I wish I could have gotten my fathers "barn coat" but it was thrown out years ago when he passed.
 
Blaze orange boonie with chin strap (for windy times).
