Went out to an area I've hunted many times. The sun and wind have dried things out quite a bit and my dog never smelled anything. A lot of the good fallow areas have been disc under and planted with winter wheat. I'm sure the birds were widely scattered on a day like today, but didn't see one bird. The habitat wasn't as good as I had expected.
