Dust Cutting in Kansas

About had to crawl to get out of the last field of the day on opening Saturday here in Kansas. We hunted mostly CRP walk-in because the corn and milo were still in the field. We were hot, sweaty, and bushed when we finally climbed out of the last draw at the end of the half section. Man I was dry after that two mile yomp through the heavy grass and weeds! Fortunately, I had a bottle of Weller bourbon in the rig. After the guns were sheathed for the day, out came the Weller. It cut the dust real good (or very well, if you prefer) and put us in a better mood. So did unbagging our beautiful pheasants. Had sauteed pheasant breast for lunch on Monday. Life is good.
