Dove hunt

Went out to the Mcpherson Wetlands for opening day there were 54 hunters on a mowed sunflower field 764 birds were shot in the morning, in the evening 15 hunters bagged around 125 birds. There are just a ton of doves arounf the Hutchinson area. Very fun weekend...

Opening day morning the birds-per-hunter average was 14 doves.

Opening day evening the birds-per-hunter average was 8 birds -- 6 birds fewer per hunter.

889 total doves bagged on opening day. Wow, that's a LOT of doves taken from just one feed field! Is that cool or what?
