My old lab has a very thick coat and the wear from the feilds never messed with his underside/chest/pits ect. The new boy has a great coat, but thin. I bet after running all day in the feilds he will have some issues with abrasion. Any thoughts on a protective vest that might work? Most of what I have seen still leave the pit areas exposed. I don't really want to have to knit him a sweater, will never hear the last of that one.
